I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets. The location to the Savassi area was perfect as it was within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The hotel facilities were clean and the breakfast was delicious. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

From the outside the hotel looks rather nice. My first appointed room was so smelly for smoke that I went straight back to the reception and asked for a change - never experianced such a smell before. The hotel must have been built some 20/25 years ago and since then nothing, really nothing at all has been changes. This also resulted in an apartment with some stains everywhere. For business purpouses, the internet access was very limited. Even it is hard to find a good hotel in Brasil at all, I would still would consider this as a bad example what I would not like to expect from a hotel if you are travelling on business, or also leisure.

The breakfast buffet was a decent spread of fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, meat and cakes. the staff were also friendly and helpful in providing directions to local attractions. the location was perfect for exploring the city. It was also quite convenient being so close to shops and restaurants.

The rooms were a bit disappointing in terms of quality. the furniture looked worn out and the couch was stained and had a funky smell.
